Shri Siddhagiri Sansthan Math in Kaneri, Taluka Karvir, District Kolhapur is the highest seat of the Kadsiddheshwar tradition. It has an ancient history of 1300 years where the first Kadsiddheshwar Swamiji, Shri Niramay Kadsiddheshwar came and settled in 7th century C.E. Since then the Math has been guiding its followers in both spiritual and worldly matters. It is dynamic institution which not only guides its followers on spiritual matters but provides social service and social welfare.
Presently as a philanthropic organization under the guidance of Param Pujya Adrushya Kadsiddheshwar Swamiji, Mathadhipati have been working selflessly for the last couple decades in many fields such as Agriculture, Health, Education, Environment Awareness, Skill Development, Women Empowerment, Disaster Management Relief Work etc. Rearing and conservation of indigenous cow-breed is also one of those vital activities is being successfully implemented under the guidance of P. P. Swamiji and currently more than 1200 indigenous cows are being scientifically reared here. Out of 45 indigenous cow breeds, 23 indigenous cow breeds are scientifically monitored and pedigree records are maintained at the Siddhagiri Goshala. Promoting Go-shala concept for the organic based farming industry which really enhance the farmers’ income as per the dream project of Hon’ble P.M. Shri Narendra Modiji. In addition the animal units are added with Kennel having a capacity of 400 dogs for strays and castes has been set up. Furthermore 15 horses of Kathiawari, Marwari and Punjabi breeds are available. More importantly, Artificially Embryo Transplant for cows and multi-facility veterinary hospital was inaugurated in the year 2023 with the auspicious hands of Hon’ble former Chief Minister, Shri Eknathrao Shinde.
